Rosie studied a BA(Hons) in printed textiles at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and a Masters in design at Glasgow School of Art. She moved to London as a senior colourist for Sanderson before becoming a freelance interior stylist. Assignments for commercial clients included photo shoots for catalogues, advertising and newspapers as well as magazine editorials. Her clients included The Sunday Times Style, Elle Deco, The Telegraph, Living Etc and The White Company. On her return to Scotland, she founded and curated Papa Stour, an online store that specialised in selling and promoting contemporary Scottish craft and design for twelve years.
